Terms of Service
By creating an account and using ALSA, you agree to the following terms.
1. User Accounts
- You must use a real email address and verify it. You can sign in with email and password, or with Google or Microsoft.
- You are responsible for keeping your password confidential.
- One account is for one individual. Do not share accounts; to work together, invite people to your workspace.
- You are responsible for all activity that happens through your account.
2. Workspaces and Roles
- Owners and admins have full access to a workspace. Members have limited access and can only view or edit projects according to the level they were given (viewer, editor, or manager).
- Owners and admins are responsible for who they invite and the permissions they grant.
- An owner whose workspace still has other active members must transfer ownership before deleting their account.
3. Acceptable Use
- ALSA is provided to help with project and task management in a lawful and reasonable way.
- Do not use ALSA to store or distribute illegal content, infringe copyright, or harm others.
- Do not attempt to access other workspaces' data, disrupt the service, or bypass security measures and usage limits.
- We may suspend accounts that are shown to be misused.
4. Third-Party Integrations
You can connect Slack, GitHub, and Google Calendar. You authorize ALSA to act through those services only as far as the features you enable, for example posting Slack messages through an automation rule. Your use of those services is also subject to their own terms. You can disconnect an integration at any time in Settings.
5. AI Features
ALSA provides AI assistance features (summaries, suggestions, autopilot) that process the text you ask them to handle through a third-party AI model provider. The AI Project Analyzer is off by default for each project and reads project data only after it is turned on. AI output can be wrong. Treat it as a suggestion, not a final decision; you remain responsible for decisions made based on it. Avoid entering data that you are not allowed to share with third parties.
6. Ownership of Your Data
All projects, tasks, and content you create in ALSA remain yours or your organization's. We do not claim ownership of your content, and we only process it to run the service as described in the Privacy Policy. You give us a limited permission to store and process that content solely so the service can work.
7. Service Availability
We work to keep ALSA available, but the service is provided "as is" and is not guaranteed to be free of interruptions at all times, including interruptions caused by infrastructure or third-party providers we use. We will try to notify you of major, prolonged outages. We recommend exporting important reports regularly.
8. Ending and Deleting Your Account
You can stop using ALSA and delete your account at any time from the app. The effect on your data is described in section 7 of the Privacy Policy, and deletion cannot be undone. We may also suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms, with reasonable notice except in cases of serious violations.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, ALSA is not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or data loss arising from use of the service, including losses caused by third-party outages or decisions made based on AI suggestions.
10. Changes to These Terms
These terms may be updated as ALSA evolves. Significant changes will be communicated by email or an in-app notification.
